Jarod Wichser Named Men’s Basketball Head Coach
The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Athletic Department has named Jarod Wichser the next men’s basketball coach following the retirement of Pat Miller. Wichser spent the last season as the interim head coach. The team finished with a 17-9 overall record and a 7-7 WIAC record.
Prior to his role as head coach, Wichser spent six seasons as an assistant for the Warhawks. He was a player under Miller while a student at Whitewater, graduating with his Bachelor’s in 2012 and his Master’s in 2018.
A press conference formally introducing Wichser will be held on Monday, April 29th at 3:45 pm.
Spring 2024 Commencement
UWW-TV will broadcast both Spring 2024 graduation ceremonies on Saturday, May 11. The ceremony for the College of Arts and Communication and the College of Business and Economics will take place at 10 am, and the ceremony for the College of Education and Professional Studies and the College of Letters and Sciences will take place at 3 pm.
Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Awards
UWW-TV students attended the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Student Forum at Lambeau Field on February 24, 2024. UWW-TV took home 10 awards, including 7 first places.
