UPDATE: Changes to the UW-Whitewater Administration

It was announced Tuesday (September 8, 2020) that Dr. John Chenoweth will serve as the interim Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. Dr. Chenoweth previously held the Dean of the College of Business and Economics position. In an email by Greg Cook, Interim Chancellor, Cook expressed that “Among his many strengths, Dr. Chenoweth has a deep understanding of our university, its degree programs, critical budget issues, and its students, faculty and staff. I know he will provide outstanding leadership for Academic Affairs and the university as a whole. He will serve in this role until I return to the position of interim provost.”

Interim Chancellor Greg Cook also announced that Taryn Carothers will serve as the interim Vice Chancellor for Administrative Affairs starting September 19^th. She will fill the position left by Grace Crickette. In an email by the Cook, it states “Taryn was hired in 2018 as the Director of Financial Services and was named Assistant Vice Chancellor for Administrative Affairs in 2019. Prior to joining the Warhawk family, she worked as the interim Chief Business Officer and had other supervisory roles at UW-Platteville where she also taught accounting.”
