Tomorrow, November 1st, inside the confines of Kris Russell Gymnasium, the UW-Whitewater Warhawks will go head-to-head with UW-Oshkosh, the upset of the first round competition against UW-Lacrosse, in the 2018 WIAC Semifinal match. Winners of both semi-final matches will then compete at a site to be determined, this Friday, November 3rd. The first serve is set to begin at 7:00 pm CDT, but UWW-TV will be updating you LIVE on all things WIAC Volleyball beginning at 6:30 pm CDT.
UW-Whitewater lost their first place seed to UW-Eau Claire in the last regular season match on October 26th, leaving them as a second seed and giving them a bye into the semi-final tournament. This means that if the Warhawks keep the victory at home tomorrow evening, then the WIAC Final Championship match will be played at home on Friday evening. If the Warhawks lose, this is the end of their 2018 season.
