UWW-TV COVID-19 Programming Update
I want to take this time to wish you and your families the best as we work together to get through these difficult times. UWW-TV will be returning with regular scheduled programming on our campus cable channel beginning Monday, March 30. We have the ability to continue our practicum coursework on-line for students enrolled in production courses, and our UWW-TV student staff members are able to work and learn from safe home locations. The student staff has been very inspiring during these times, and their wish to continue on has motivated me to maintain our programming efforts as regular.
At the same time, the UWW-TV main offices at the lower level of Andersen Library remain closed to the public until further notice, and the campus-only channel UWW-TV Classic Sports will remain off the air with Warhawk sports content while the “Safer at Home” order is in place.
Programming blocks do include some “Classic Sports moments” as part of the regular rotation with student original programs. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at meadj@uww.edu.
UWW-TV is part of the UW-Whitewater campus cable line-up, Channel 100.1; it can be found on Spectrum Digital Channel 989 in the Janesville and Green zones, and can be streamed 24/7 at reslife.uww.edu/stream
