UWW-TV to air NCAA D-III 3rd Round Games

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater will once again play host to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament this weekend. Third round games are this Friday, beginning at 5:30 CT.  UWW-TV will broadcast both games LIVE on Friday night.  Game one features Whitworth (WA) vs. Virginia Wesleyan, and game two has UW-Whitewater vs. Wheaton (IL).  The winners will play Saturday night at the Williams Center for a birth to the NCAA D-III Final Four.

Just like last weekend’s regional rounds, game one will be telecast live on UWW-TV (campus cable channel 100; channel 96 in Whitewater, channel 989 in the outlying areas) and streamed live at pennatlantic.com.  It will not be telecast on Charter Main Street (Channel 20) for local cable subscibers.

Game two featuring the Warhawks will be broadcast on all local networks, including Charter Main Street and pennatlantic.com.

Saturday’s game will also be televised on UWW-TV and pennatlantic.com; the game will air on Charter Main Street if UW-Whitewater wins Friday.
