UWWTV to Cover Baseball Regional

UW-Whitewater will be hosting one of the 2014 NCAA D3 Baseball Regionals this Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday* and UWWTV has you covered! LIVE coverage will begin at 12pm CDT on Wednesday with the #1 seeded UW-Whitewater playing #6 seed St. Norbert. Following the conclusion of game 1, #2 seeded Heidelberg will take on the #5 seed Adrian, first pitch is expected around 3pm CDT. The day will then round out with #3 Concordia-Chicago taking #4 UW-La Crosse, first pitch is expected about 6pm.

The #1 seeded Warhawks of UW-Whitewater enter the tournament ranked third in the nation and holds a 36-7 record after defeating UW-La Crosse for the WIAC title.

The #2 seeded Student Princes of Heidelberg enter the tournament after being bounced from the OAC tournament in two games. Heidelberg has a 31-11 record and is ranked 18th nationally. The Student Princes come from Tiffin OH.

The #3 seeded Cougars of Concordia-Chicago come from River Forest, IL. Concordia-Chicago punched their ticket to the tournament by winning the NACC Tournament. The Cougars enter the tournament with a 37-5 record and are ranked fourth in the nation just behind hosts UW-Whitewater.

The #4 seeded UW-La Crosse Eagles come from La Crosse WI. La Crosse enters the tournament holding a 26-16 record. The Eagles lost in the WIAC Championship games to hosts UW-Whitewater, after defeating the Warhawks in an earlier round.

The #5 seeded Adrian Bulldogs come from Adrian MI. Adrian enters the tournament with a 30-13 record and a MIAA Tournament Championship under their belt.

The #6 Green Knights of St. Norbert come from De Pere WI. St. Norbert enters the tournament holding a 23-14 record and the MWC Championship.
