Volleyball Madness Hits UW-Whitewater

November madness has set-in at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. UWWTV has you covered with a jam packed weekend of sports action. On Thursday UWWTV will cover 4 games of the NCAA Volleyball Tournament LIVE. Games are scheduled for 12:30, 3:00, 5:30 and 8:00.

Thursday November 12^th is Volleyball day!

At 12:30: The 10^th ranked Hope College Flying Dutch will face off against the Bethel University Royals.

At 3:00: The Gusties of Gustavus Adolphus will square off against the UW-Eau Claire Blugolds.

At 5:30: The St. Benedict Blazers will take on the Knights of Wartburg

At 8:00: Hosts 1th ranked UW-Whitewater will match up against Northwestern.

TEAMS:

The 10^th ranked Hope College Flying Dutch enter the NCAA Tournament 24-6. Traveling from Holland Michigan, the Flying Dutch will face off against Bethel. Hope earned their spot in the tournament via at-large bid. The 2014 National Champions fell to Calvin in the MIAA Championship.

Bethel enters the NCAA tournament 22-9, and will face off against the 10^th ranked Hope College Flying Dutch. Traveling from St. Paul Minnesota, the Royals earned their spot in the tournament via at-large bid after falling to Gustavus Adolphus in the MIAC Championship game.

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugolds will face off against the Gusties of Gustavus Adolphus in the first round. The Blugolds hold a 26-9 record, and enter the tournament via at-large bid. They were bumped from the WIAC tournament after a first round loss.

Gustavus Adolphus enters the tournament 27-2 coming off a victory in the MIAC Championship. The Gusties will take on the Blugolds of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Gustavus Adolphus travels from St. Peter Minnesota.

St. Benedict will travel from St. Joseph Minnesota. Holding a 18-9 record the Blazers enter the tournament via at-large bid. They will take on Wartburg in the first round. They come off a win against Loras College in the IIAC Tournament.

Wartburg starts the tournament with a 30-5 record. The Knights earned their spot in the tournament via the Iowa conference automatic bid for winning the conference tournament. They will travel from Waverly Iowa for the regional rounds. Wartburg will take on St. Benedict in the first round.

Northwestern owns a record 26-8. They enter the tournament winning the UMAC Conference crown. The Eagles will travel from St. Paul Minnesota to take on the Warhawks in the first round.

The host, University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Warhawks enter the tournament 31-4 and ranked 11^th nationally. They earned their way into the tournament by winning the WIAC tournament crown. The Warhawks will face off against Northwestern in the first round.
