Warhawk football goes head-to-head with UW-Eau Claire tomorrow inside the walls of Perkins Stadium with kick-off set for 1:00 pm CDT. This match-up is the last regular season game for both teams as it is also the first time they will meet on the field this season.
Whitewater brings a 6-3 overall record into this competition, while the Blugolds bring a 1-8 overall. The stakes are very high for the Warhawks, as they are ranked 23 out of the top 25. This means that if they were to take home the victory this weekend then they would earn a spot in the NCAA playoffs. Not to be set aside, there is nothing more dangerous than a team with nothing to lose and the Blugolds are just that. No matter the outcome of tomorrows event, UW-Eau Claire’s season is wrapped up, but they will not go down without a fight.
