DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Colorado College Tigers of the SCAC face off against the UW-La Crosse Eagles of the WIAC in the first round of the NCAA DIII Women’s Basketball Tournament. The Tigers went 15-1, to finish first, in conference play during the regular season. One of three schools to represent the SCAC in the national tournament, they earned an at-large bid after falling to conference tournament champion Texas Lutheran.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Eagles found themselves battling all season in one of DIII’s toughest conferences. After finishing .500 in the conference during the regular season, they needed a big win the the first round of the conference tournament to help bolster their resume. A win against fellow tournament participate UW-Stevens Point did just that. The Eagles earned one of five WIAC bids into the national tournament.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTipoff from Kachel Gymnasium is set for 4:30 PM (CST)! The winner advance to the second round on Saturday and will face the winner of the UW-Whitewater vs. Principia College matchup. LIVE coverage of all opening weekend games are provided by UWW-TV! \n
