Warhawk SPORTS Programming

We have a storied history of producing quality Warhawk sporting events, dating back to 1980. The UWW-TV sports production team has captured some of the most memorable athletic contests in UW-Whitewater history. Our live events are recognized throughout the country as an example of high-quality college video programming. UWW-TV student broadcasters have claimed numerous announcing awards (WBA, WCM) over the years and many game clips from our productions have been seen on ESPN’s Top Ten Plays of the Day.

UWW-TV provides a wide variety of original sports programming, including the award-winning Warhawk Sports Saturday pre-game show every fall semester, as well as Hawk Talk, a collaborative weekly simulcast between UW-Whitewater’s cable cable station and 91.7 The Edge, our campus radio station.

UWW-TV can broadcast LIVE from several campus locations, including Perkins Stadium, Kachel Fieldhouse, Fiskum Field and Foster Track, Prucha Field at Jim Miller Stadium and van Steenderen Softball Complex, as well as Peter Conover Television Studio inside of Andersen Library and the University Center.
