UW-Whitewater Communication students take pride in reporting local breaking news events, as well as entertaining profile segments as part of the UWW-TV daily news block known as 800 West Main Street. Each weekday during the academic year, the “30-minute headline news-style” program of weekly information, entertainment and sports keeps you up to date and in the know about what’s happening in our campus community.
800 West Main Street consists of the UWW-TV News Update, UWW-TV Sports Update, RHA News Update, Inside the Arts and much more!
UWW-TV student broadcasters/journalists have claimed numerous storytelling awards (WBA, WCM) over the years, utilizing Department of Communication academic courses and practical experience to improve their skills and produce quality news programming on UWW-TV.
