About Jim: Many creative examples I continue to incorporate into class lectures and labs are inspired from my early youth when I used to write short stories and create “television shows” with Fisher Price characters and play sets.

About Dean: I am currently a senior at UW-Whitewater with my major being Communication with an emphasis on Electronic Media. I transferred over to UW-Whitewater from UW-Rock County after I finished my associates degree and so since then I have been at UW-Whitewater for about a year now! My favorite sports team is the Philadelphia 76ers and I am obsessed with them. Other than that, I am interested in a lot of different things ranging from sports, video games, and TV shows as well. I am not sure what I will do after college but in the meantime I’m gonna try and have fun along the way.

About Corey: Nontraditional Student that quit my day job to get a piece of paper. Before coming to UWW I’ve worked in a few different places, but I had a knack for production. I worked with City of Madison in their IT department and worked heavily with their public access channels before a local news company picked me up and I became the ‘go to’ guy there. For nearly 5 years I was floor crew, master control operator, show editor, spot producer, photojournalist, the list goes on (it shouldn’t, that’s why I left). I planned to go to school immediately upon leaving the station, but the pandemic hit. I stayed busy working in bio tech, until I left that to come back to school last year. I’ve been free lancing video work for corporate clients since. I also love to explore the outdoors.

About Abbey: Hi! In my future I would love to go into investigative reporting at a local news station. Barbara Walters is a huge inspiration when it comes to my career. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family as well as listening to music. Concerts are one of my favorite things. I also absolutely love animals; I have two dogs and a hamster.

About AJ: Hi, my name is AJ Kober and I am a junior here on the campus of UW-Whitewater. My major is Journalism and my minor is Psychology. Some of my favorite things to do are basketball, video games, and commentating sports games.

About Nolan: Hey! I’m Nolan, and I’m a student producer here at UWW-TV. I’m also an announcer for Warhawks’ sporting events. In my free time, I love to watch sports, hang out with family & friends, travel, and get outside to enjoy things like hiking and nature.
