The UW-Whitewater Warhawks are hosting the Lakeland University Muskies this Saturday, November 19th, in the first round of the NCAA Playoffs at Perkins Stadium. UWW-TV will have LIVE coverage of the game beginning at 11:00am CDT with Warhawk Sports Saturday. Kickoff will follow at 12:00pm CDT.
The No. 2 ranked Warhawks enter into the NCAA Playoffs with a perfect 10-0 record and are making their 11th post-season appearance in the last 12 years. Lakeland University is coming into the postseason 7-3 after winning the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference for the third straight year. The last time these two teams met, the Warkawks won 70-7 at Perkins Stadium and own a 7-0 advantage in the all time series between the two teams. The winner of Saturday’s game will face-off against either the No. 17 Wittenberg or the No. 15 Thomas Moore in the second round of the NCAA Playoffs.
