NCAA DIII Women’s Basketball Tournament – First Round: UW-Whitewater vs. Transylvania

This first round matchup features the host UW-Whitewater Warhawks, of the WIAC and the Transylvania Pioneers of the HCAC. The Warhawks finished third in the WIAC regular season with an 8-6 conference record and a 17-7 overall record. They would fall in the tournament semifinals. Transylvania finished the regular season with a 16-2 conference record, 21-4 overall. They would go on to capture the HCAC Tournament Championship, earning the conferences automatic bid. Winner of this game will play the winner of the UChicago vs. Gustavus Adolphus game.
