WIAC Women’s Basketball Tournament: UW-Whitewater vs. UW-Steven Point

It’s the first round of the WIAC Women’s Basketball Tournament! The 3-seeded UW-Whitewater Warhawks host the 6th-seeded UW-Stevens Point Pointers. The Warhawks finished the regular season 18-7 overall, with a 8-6 conference record. The Pointers enter the tournament 15-10 overall, with a 4-10 conference record. These two teams split the regular season series, each winning on the road. The winner will advance to Wednesday’s semi-final game at either UW-Oshkosh or UW-La Crosse.
