Happy Hour is a compilation of short sketches featuring comedy and drama and a diverse cast of characters. The 15-minute program shares a common twist on Midwest values and features Chilled Rivalry, Chuck Happens and Unscheduled Program, with new episodes airing weekly during the spring semester. Steve from Sheboygan Wisconsin and Porter from Chicago hash out their differences and similarities. Both Men are Die hard football fans with long developed hatred for each other’s teams. Both party’s fall under stereotypes relating to their backgrounds and choice of fandom. Steve and Porter are brought in and must discuss there problems with each other in front of Dr. Blue a Psychologists studying the two men.
Chuck Happens is a short-form character comedy that follows the small-town tomboy Charlene “Chuck” Dunlap as she transitions to life in the city. Reuniting with her best friend Trevor Yoder– a wild and chaotic city dweller– the two work to reconnect their old rhythm. Their culturally contrasting dynamic and shared adventurous spirits spark some chaotic and comedic situations as they rediscover their friendship.
