NCAA Women’s Basketball: UW-Whitewater vs. UMN-Morris

It’s the opening round of the NCAA DIII Women’s Basketball Tournament! The UW-Whitewater Warhawks (22-4) of the WIAC will take on the UMN-Morris Cougars (17-10) of the UMAC. The Warhawks finished second in the regular season in a conference that saw three teams make the national tournament. After also finishing second in their conference regular season, the Cougars earned the UMAC automatic bid into the tournament after winning the conference tournament. The winner of this game will take on the winner of the Millikin vs. Willamette game, in the second round on Saturday, March 2nd. Tipoff from Kachel Gym is set for 7:45 PM (CST) with LIVE coverage on UWW-TV starting at 7:35 (CST)!
